It's odd cause you should be fine with that CPU. You either have to swap out a lower end card to match with the CPU or crank the graphics up. The CPU can't handle all the info the GPU is throwing at it. If the CPU and GPU usage are low and almost even it's a bottleneck.īasically your CPU can't keep up with your GPU. You would want to see high GPU usage like 99% or so. Your CPU usage should be below the GPU usage by a quite bit. If your monitor can do more than 60 fps you can set the frame rate higher, that will help as well. I suggest turning all graphics settings to max and running at a higher resolution.
It seems you have a bottleneck going on which can cause dips in frame rate. I haven't tried it with the RTX 2070 Super I have now. It ran a better on my R9 390 and the GTX 1070 Ti.
I have it and I tried running it on a GTX 750 Ti a few years back and it didn't run very well with everything turned up. Far Cry 3 is a really poorly optimized game.
